The 86th CMEF: Innovative technology reshapes the global medical ecosystem

The 86th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from November 23 to 26, 2022. As the first global medical event after the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the exhibition was themed "Innovative Technology Leading the Future", attracting nearly 4,000 companies from more than 20 countries to participate in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of ​​240,000 square meters. The exhibition focuses on three core trends:

More than 50 forums were held during the exhibition to interpret the newly revised "Medical Device Supervision and Management Regulations". Data shows that in 2022, the market share of domestic CT will exceed 40%, and the localization rate of DSA equipment will increase to 28%.

This CMEF is not only a centralized review of anti-epidemic technology achievements, but also marks a new stage for China's medical industry to move from "single point breakthrough" to "system innovation".
